Lymphatic Dry Skin Brush
Lymphatic Dry Skin Brushing is an important step to maintaining good health, a strong immune system and glowing skin. In addition to improving the look and texture of your skin, dry brushing assists with the important function of detoxification. Skin is our body’s largest elimination organ, discharging more than a pound of impurities and toxins through our pores on a daily basis! Therefore it is important that we keep our skin and pores exfoliated and clean. Brushing also increases circulation, promoting the release of toxins. Our natural bristle dry skin brush is made with sisal fibers and has a cord for hanging in the shower.
How to brush:
The stiffer the bristles on the brush, the better the lymphatic stimulation generated.
Avoid sensitive areas as well as cuts, rashes and wounds.
It’s best to do skin brushing in the shower before getting wet. Brush entire body (except face, use a specific facial dry brush for facial skin) using short, light, frequent strokes toward the heart using both up-and-down and circular motions. Begin with the soles of the feet followed by ankles and calves, working up both front and back. Then do hands, arms, underarms, chest and upper back, always remembering to focus the brush strokes towards the heart.
How to care for your brush:
Wash with soap and water, hang to dry
