Pretty in purple
Kids are back in school, Labor Day has passed, and it's safe to say that summer is coming to an end. There is no need to get depressed about it because that means that there is a whole new list of fall makeup trends to try out.
I love this look that Savannah based makeup artist, Emily May and I created. It really does prove that clean beauty can be GLAMOROUS! All products can be found on Paris Laundry, so let's break it down!
Step 1: Prep your skin
Make sure your skin is nice and hydrated. I like to use the Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Cream because it has a more tacky consistency to it which is great to use before your foundation as a primer.
Step 2: Foundation
Step 3: Bronzer + Blush
We really wanted to go for a super glam application when it came to highlighting my cheekbones. We started with the Matte Bronzer in the color San Juan, then added the Pressed Cheek Color in Titan which is a gorgeous warm tangerine color. We finished it off with my favorite Vanilla Highlighter in Falling Star.
Step 4: Brows
For brows we used the Natural Almond Brow Pencil, which is the perfect natural and universal color. It glides on, but dries with a nice powdery finish.
Step 5: Eyes
We wanted the eyes to be a really standout look. Bold, yet soft and elegant. We have seen lavender and purple tones be a focal point in fashion the last couple years, and I love that we can play with makeup the same way. The different purple and pink tones from the Lovely Eye Palette really compliment one another, and being able to use the shadows to build a richer purple gives the eye more depth.
We also used the Elate Liquid Eyeliner in Black on the eyelid to create some definition.
Then finished the eye with the Elate Essential Mascara.
